No delays, No excuses.
<<<URGENT>>> <<<<<PLEASE READ AND RESPOND AS APPROPRIATE>>>>>
This is urgent. A call to IMMEDIATE action. No delays, no excuses, its urgent.
People's eternal souls hang in the balance. Their destinies are at stake.
Here's the question, are you going to do anything about it?
If your sibling, or parent, or kids were to call you saying they were about to die, what length would you go to, to save them? Or at least TRY?
Too bad this is only earth. Meager earth, where we are called to do just one thing. Make disciples of ALL nations. It's such an easy command to hear, but not so easy to act on. Or is it?
Christians MUST have a tremendous sense of Gospel Urgency. 2 Corinthians 5:20 "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors as though God were making his appeal through us."
If anyone of my siblings was in trouble, and at the point of death, I can't even imagine the lengths I would go to, to rescue them. How much MORE is Gospel urgency---when heaven and hell are the only options. Burning forever, or worshipping forever?
This is not something we can just laugh off. Our responsibility as Christians is to display Gospel urgency, so people can know just how important the Gospel is. A good question to ask yourself is this: "What brings out the greatest sense of urgency in me?" Is it your job, friends, school reputation, leader reputation, man or woman? What captivates your mind is the greatest sense of urgency that you have. We all worship something, and although God's desire is for us to constantly fall in worship at His feet, we often worship other things. In fact, maybe more those things then God.
When we, as Christians, are zoned in on the Gospel, it will consume our mind. Disciples will be made. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LIVING FOR. To spread the good news of John 3:16, and Romans 8, and every other verse in the Bible.
So take action. We are the ambassadors of Christ. Representing Heaven and His majestic Glory through which He shines His Mercy, new every morning. When we represent Christ as His ambassadors, it means we are convinced that He is absolutely worth it. So why not show ourselves as ambassadors of Christ instead of being shy and held back, afraid of what this meager world has to offer? Why not put aside the seemingly "glorious pleasures" of this world and take time to show someone the Love that Christ has to offer us and bring us?
Why not love like He loves us?
